It amazes me how defensive doctors and dieticians are about the HCG protocol for weight loss. You would think they would say, we'll we don't advise it, BUT if you are going to do it, then you should get bloodwork done regularly and have scheduled doctor visits to monitor your health. Then maybe they would see for themselves that it does IMPROVE HEALTH and effect WEIGHT LOSS while causing very little hunger or side effects.

Or they should try it themselves. I've hardly seen a doctor that couldn't stand to lose 10 pounds or more. It is safe because it is already used in much higher doses to treat infertility and all pregnant women have large amounts of HCG in their bloodstream. I have tried to lose weight for a decade but I just kept gaining until I reached 253 pounds. At 5'2" it was seriously affecting my life. Over 2 years, through diet and exercise I dropped 22 pounds. At that rate it would take 10 more years of restricting calories with a healthy diet and exercise. I was considering the surgical options. It was very hard to do and my weight was up and down a lot and I didn't feel great always being on a restricted calorie diet. Last October I discovered HCG and I have lost 33 pounds in 3 months. The weight came off fast during the 6 week low calorie phase, and I am able to maintain easily with 1700 calories a day.

I was taking daily Rx Prevacid for acid reflux for 10 years, but I was able to stop taking it after 3 weeks of following the protocol. I have found the best treatment for heartburn or acid reflux is 1 T apple cider vinegar taken in 4-6 ounces of warm water. And I plan to be off my BP meds this year too. I will reach my goal weight of 140 pounds this year.

Best of all, I have learned to eliminate toxins (chemicals in food) and to reduce sugar and starch, especially those hidden in food additives which seem to be in everything.
